Overview
The LightBox Census Boundaries – Tract API provides access to Census Tract boundaries sourced from the U.S. Census Bureau. Census Tracts are relatively permanent statistical subdivisions of counties and equivalent entities and are subdivided into Census Block Groups and Census Blocks. They provide a standardized geographic framework for organizing and analyzing demographic, socioeconomic, population, and statistical information. Through the API, developers and analysts can retrieve individual Census Tracts by identifier, perform spatial queries, and incorporate tract boundaries into demographic analysis, market analysis, site selection, infrastructure planning, and other geospatial workflows.
