Introduction

Timeframe and number of requests for an evaluation
Duration: Your evaluation will be available for three weeks after signup.
Number of requests: You will have a total of 2000 requests that can be used across the API catalog.

1. Setup your credentials
You will be receiving an email from LightBox to setup your credentials
You will have 7 days to Activate your LightBox account. If this email expires, you can send a help request using the link: https://login.lightboxre.com/help/login
Using the Activate LightBox Account button redirect you to create a password, set up a security question and a security image.
Once this step is complete you will automatically be logged into LightBox.
Note: Your email address will be your user name
2. Log into the Developer Portal
To retrieve your authentication key you will need to be logged into the developer portal.
Navigate to https://developer.lightboxre.com and use the Log In link in the upper right hand corner of the page
Use the credentials that were setup on the first step.
3. Retrieve your authentication key
Once you are logged into your account a new menu item will appear called Apps
Clicking on the Apps menu item will bring you to your apps page. You will see a app already created for your evaluation.
Select anywhere in the gray box to bring your to the Apps settings view. Your authorization token can be found on this page under the consumer key.
Click the copy button or the eye icon to display your key. This is the key that you will use when authenticating your API calls.
4. Navigate to an API
Select APIs on the main tool bar. For example: Select an API card such as PARCELS
You can search for specific categories in the API Products section. Choose any or all categories that are relevant to your needs
5. Authenticate using your key
Select the Authorize button
Enter your authorization key
Click Close. You are now authorized to try any endpoint within this page. If you change to a new API page you will need to re-add your authorization key.
6. Try out the various endpoints
Scroll down to an endpoint that you would like to try and select Try it out button
This action will allow you to enter in the required and optional parameters. Once you have entered the parameters select execute.
The result to this call will be displayed below the execute button.
